Nicolle “Nikkie” J. Frey, 45, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Richard and Dannie Frey (Trautwein). Graduate of Lincoln High in 1990 and Wichita State University in 1995. She loved music, writing, drawing, and long walks in the park. Nikkie loved helping others and was a friend to many. Survived by mother Dannie Trautwein; fiance Ken Johnson; sisters, Shelly (Scott) Madison, Shannon (Shane) Hooper, and Rochelle Higgins. Stepmom Anita Frey, aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her dad, Richard, and grandparents. Dannie and Family So sad that you had to lose such a great daughter/sister, she was such a great neighbor we will miss her very much i always enjoyed are visit's with each other, she was such a kind person when she would visit me we always had such great conversations, and shelly you were such a GREAT SISTER to her! you all are in are prayers at this time of sorrow.
