Peter Carosella, 81 years old of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on January 10, 2018 in his Glendale home.
Memorial services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Sunland Mortuary. Internment will follow at Sunland Cemetery
Peter Carosella was born in Bronx, New York to Sal and Angelina Carosella on January 2, 1937. He graduated Cardinal Hayes High School in New York City in 1955 and briefly attended St. John's University before joining the Air Force, where he served for four years in Guam and Westover Air Force Base in Massachusetts as part of the 8th Reconn Technical Squadron. He married Marie Scalice on April, 23, 1960 in St. Frances of Rome Church, Bronx, N.Y. The couple moved to New Jersey where they raised their two children. He worked for The New York Times for over thirty years and retired from his position as Circulation Manager in May 1994. He enjoyed gardening while living in New Jersey. In 1997 he and his wife relocated to Arizona. After retirement he developed an interest in energy healing and was a certified Reiki Master as well as an avid dowser
Peter is preceded in death by his son, Peter J. Carosella M.D.
Peter is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie, his daughter, Lynn, his daughter-in-law Beth, as well as his sisters Gloria and Joan.
