Merkel Ramah L., 71, of O'Fallon, IL., born July 13, 1946 in Belleville, IL., passed away on January 14, 2018.
Ramah taught elementary school in O'Fallon for 15 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by husband, Joel Merkel and parents, Raymond Scheibel and Amanda Louise Scheibel (nee Monken).
She is survived by her loving daughter Kelly (Dr. Joseph) Robbins; Grandchildren: Beckett, Corinne, and Aubree; Brother: Gary (the late Judy) Scheibel.

Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2018 at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208.
Funeral: Services will be held at 12 noon, Friday, January 19, 2018 at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 North Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, Illinois 62208. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens.
