SMITH, Edith Amanda, 97, of Surprise, Arizona, an aircraft worker by trade, passed away on December 12, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Hunter and Helen Castove Hunter; daughter, Karen Smith; brother, Byron Hunter; sisters, Evelyn Thomas and Lorraine Johnson; and husband Herbert William Smith. She is survived by her loving children, James "Jim" (Susan) Smith, Virginia "Ginger" Smith (Robert) Jacobo, Donald "Don" (Dawn) Smith, and Robert "Bob" (Pamela) Smith; grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Melby, Jeffrey (Kristina) Smith, Connie (Robert) Many, Erica Jacobo, Summer (Jay) Wallin, and Brandi (Thomas) McLean. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018, at 2:30 PM, at Sunland Memorial Park & Mortuary at 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., in Sun City, Arizona.
