Dear Ruth, David, Diane and Russ, Greg and Cindy, Jen and Mike and all the grandchildren,
I have nothing but fond memories of Uncle Walter or Wally as we all knew him. He was quite the character and the life of many parties. He always had a kind word for everyone and everyone was his friend. He found happiness in the most simple things in life and never really seemed to complain. If only we all could follow in those footsteps! I know I will miss him a lot but people like Wally always have a special place in our hearts. My love to you all...

Ruth and family: My sincere condolences on just having received news of Walter's passing. A wonderful man ... surrounded by such a loving family all his life. It was a pleasure to meet and to know "Chicken" ... I am sure he is up above playing away on an accordion keeping everyone entertained. Some card games too !

Dear Ruth, David, Diane & Russ, Greg & Cindi, Jen & Mike & Grandchildren,
There's so many thoughts that run through my head as I remember Uncle Walter -his love for family, his enjoyment of music, his appreciation for so many of the little things in life - a sunny day, a big beautiful moon, a sky full of stars. He was quite the gardener in later years and so enjoyed getting down and dirty. As a little girl I always looked forward to seeing him with his happy-go-lucky personality. Every family needs an Uncle Walter and we were so lucky to have him. We're never ready to say goodbye but as you lay him to rest I pray the universe will carry his soul up, up and away to soar with the eagles and sing with the angels.
Love to you all,
