Kenneth Joseph Daigle passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 13, 2018 at the age of 71. Kenneth was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on April 14, 1946 to the late Russell and Tillie Daigle, and moved to New Orleans when he was 10 years old. An impressive history buff who loved building military models, Kenneth spent a couple years sharing his knowledge with others while volunteering his time at the WWII museum. A loyal member of The Flying Tigers Scale Model Builders, Kenneth was an award winning model builder, who was known for his quick wit, zany sense of humor, and fierce personality. He was a man who knew what he stood for. Kenneth never met a stranger and always spread laughter to all who encountered him. Kenneth's wife Theresa, was the absolute love of his life and the match to his wit. He cherished every moment of the 42 years they were married, and never recovered after she passed. The love and laughter of their marriage lives on through their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his five children: Angelique Daigle (Steven), Marcus Daigle (Brenda), Tonia Daigle, Michael Daigle (Sarah), and Natalie Arceneaux (Raymond); seven grandchildren: Catherine Sabine, Paul, Nicole, Vincent, Will, Grace, and Raymond; and three great-grandchildren: Isabella and twins, Alyssa and Sara. He is also survived by one brother, Richard, and three sisters: Susan, Judy, and Joan. He is preceded in death by brother, Ronald and sister, Jacqueline. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial services on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00am. A visitation will be from 9:00am-11:00am Saturday morning. Deepest sympathies to Kenny's family. I know he will be missed. He was an entertaining person to be around and quite a skilled builder of historical models. I know he missed Theresa greatly and now they are together again. Blue skies, Ken

Kenny, I will miss your sense of humor and wit, and our more serious discussions on life, the military, and politics. Our model shows will be less for your absence. Godspeed. Angelique, you and your family are in my prayers. He loved your mother and we often talked about our common grief on losing our spouses.

I was a friend of Kenney's from Dot's Diner in Luling. I was completely in shock when I heard of his passing. You are all in my prayers and have my sympathy. He was a unique individual and we had many interesting conversations over the length of our short friendship. I will miss seeing him slide into my booth and settle down for an afternoon of conversation. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I will miss you Uncle Kenny! I will miss our debates about football & baseball. We may not have always pulled for the same team but we always pulled for each other. I hope you are dancing with Aunt Theresa - I know you missed her dearly.
