her heavenly reward on January 10, 2018 while residing at the SECU
Hospice House In Smithfield North Carolina.
Beloved widow of Paul J Kuchinski, Sr, Carolyn was born on July 3, 1937
at home in China Grove, NC to Esther Pauline Cook and James Everett
Horton. Along with her siblings, she attended the local schools and Baptist
Church of China Grove.
Prior to making her last home in North Fort Myers, Florida, Carolyn

had her travelling to Haiti, Peru and Brazil to work at Church orphanages.
Her most precious task was to rock the babies.
Carolyn would want to give thanks to her extremely caring neighbors Janet
and Ronald Pica of Lazy Days Park in North Fort Myers, FL who managed
her care and affairs as her health declined. Carolyn's last caregiver was her
step-daughter Catherine K. McCormick who also extends sincere
appreciation for the kind care Carolyn received at both the UNC
Hillsborough Geriatric Hospital and the Smithfield SECU Hospice House.
Those who predeceased Carolyn include her spouse, Paul J. Kuchinski, Sr.,
her infant son Tommy, her parents and her sister Kathleen (Katie).
