I'll never forget Bessie Martin... her and her late sister Lena Blank both attended the United Pilgrim Church with me in the village of Royalton.... Bessie would help anyone that needed it... she was a good woman and I know she will be sadly missed! My thoughts and prayers go out to the rest of her family

Christine and I always think of Aunt Bessie on our mother, Minnie's, birthday, because she shared it with Aunt Bessie. They delighted in calling and wishing each other Happy Birthday, and having a nice chat.
You are in our thoughts and prayers as you at this time.

I just want to share some of my memories of Aunt Bessie with those who are mourning her death. When I was five years old I had to have a minor surgery (my second) and I was scared. Early (it was still dark outside) on the morning of the surgery, Aunt Bessie came to our house and brought a red and white polka dot robe she had made for me. I loved it and wore it as long as I could! Some of my best childhood memories are of times spent on the farm with her and uncle Lewis. She even showed Vivian and I how to make her white fruit cake! I am thankful that the last time I visited her at Crestview she knew who I was and we had a really good visit!
You have my deepest sympathies!

My Grammy was a wonderful lady. She was always smiling, no matter what was going on around her. There wasn't anything that would bring her down, nothing would scare her, not even when she had to have eye surgery, a few years ago. Even in her nineties, she was fearless. Which I could not even do and I'm in my early thirties. When I asked her if she was worried about the surgery, her answer was simple, "no we are all Gods children." I will always love her, and she will be remembered.
