Marilyn K. Mason, 87, of Markle passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was born October 9, 1930, a daughter of the late Eldon and Mary (Eubank) Swaidner. She worked as a bookkeeper at State Bank of Markle and later retired as a business partner at Mason Flooring in Markle. She was a member at Markle Church of Christ where she was involved in many of the music areas. Surviving family include her children, Eunice Ratzlaff, Treva Schmidt, Hal Mason, and Marvel Mann; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren; and a brother, Ward Swaidner. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Paul Mason; sister, Ruth McHenry; and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Bluffton Church of the Nazarene, 1515 Clark Ave., Bluffton, with a gathering of family and friends starting at 2:00 pm. Inurnment will be at Horeb Cemetery, Uniondale at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Markle Library.
