Hortencia was the daughter of Jacinto and Juanita Gonzales. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was married to Moises Mansillas Sr. for 60 years. Hortencia was a firm believer in her God. She was an avid church member to CLADIC Templo Smirna, who many here today have visited. She had a heart that never stopped giving. She inspired so many people without even knowing. She has created endless memories with her family that we will never forget.
Hortencia is preceded in death by her parents Jacinto and Juanita Gonzales, husband Moises Mansillas, Sr., and her son Ezequiel (Peewee) Mansillas.
Left to cherish her memories are her children Linda Martinez and husband Robert, Moises Mansillas Jr., Anna (Birdie) Benavides and husband Roel, Anita Koenig and husband Esy Espari, and Suzy Salazar and husband Rey, 12 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 in the Grand Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 pm Saturday, January, 20, 2018 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with interment immediately following at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

A beautiful woman. She always remembered my husband and I. She's gone home with her Lord. No more suffering. She has a special place in my heart.

Mrs. Mansillas was an Angel on this earth. She helped me raise my sons like her own. Her love was unending. I NEVER heard her say one negative thing about anyone. She lived by the Bible and I will forever treasure her friendship. I know she is in heaven with her beloved husband and son. God bless the Mansillas children.
