I just found out that Ed passed away yesterday, and I am so sad that I missed the service.
Ed Adkins was larger than life to me. He certainly had a positive impact on me, as a young person starting out in the "real world" out of college. I still remember many of the little sayings and jokes that he often told us at New York Life. Some of those were truly life lessons that I cherish.
I am very sorry for your family's loss.

My love and thoughts go out to each and every member of the Adkins family. Most especially to Steve and Iris, and to Mike.
May you all cry a little, laugh a little, when remembering back on Ed's life with you!
I love you all!
