Luisa Ramirez, 98, has gone to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She was born in Clareville, Texas on July 13, 1919.
She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and enjoyed the presence of her grandchildren especially taking selfies on Facebook. She always had a radiant smile for all who crossed her path, to know her was to love her. She will be dearly remembered by her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Narciso Ramirez; daughter, Viola De Los Santos and granddaughter, Mary Jane Ortiz.
Praying to the Holy Spirit was her passion along with art and enjoyed watching baseball, football and The Price is Right.
Luisa leaves behind to cherish her memories with her children daughters: Anita (Guillermo) Gonzalez, Janie Rios, Ernestina (Armando) Ronje, Rosalinda (Juan Jose) Flores, Rebecca Crawford, Marylou Ramirez; her sons: Narciso Ramirez, Reynaldo (Lourdes) Ramirez, Alfredo Ramirez; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the Team at Kindred Hospice for the love and care they gave to their mother.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 pm that same evening.
Funeral Service to be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Memory Gardens with Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Johnny Flores, Michael De Los Santos, Nathan Ontiveros, Daniel Rios, Caleb Schmitgen, and Alfredo Cano.
