Cleo K. Hoback age 73 of Lincoln passed away on January 19, 2018. She was born on November 17, 1944 in rural Nance County Nebraska to Burt and Mazie (Cargill) Hoback. She graduated from David City High School in 1963. Cleo worked at Dubinsky Brothers Theatres and Nebraska Chamber of Commerce. She loved to travel with her sister Alta and their dog Brandy. She was a former Capital City Clogger.
Cleo is survived by her brother, Ron (Ann) Hoback of Crete, sisters, Donna (Jim) Moore of Tucson, Marge (Howard) Seuferer of Roca, Alta Brodd of Lincoln, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed to Hearts United for Animals and the American Cancer Society.
Visitation: Family will greet friends on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8400 Pioneers Blvd.

I've only known Cleo for a couple of years. Cleo was such a generous person and was always a pleasure to be around. Whenever trying to do something for Cleo she ALWAYS found a way to sneak some money back to me in the most unusual ways. She loved pets and always said kind things. She will be missed.
