MERCADO, Mildred Davis, age 92, died Friday, January 19, 2018 at Carlyle House. Mildred was born in Savannah Georgia to the late Ernest and Beulah Small Davis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph J. "Jack" Mercado. She is survived by her son, Donald (Obed) Mercado of Milpitas, CA, daughter Anita (Gray) Allison of Collierville, TN, daughter Amy Mercado of Centerville, OH; grandson Deven Vince; and several nieces and nephews. Mildred was an avid gardener, family lover, animal lover, southern belle, reader, writer, education advocate, University of Michigan alum and football fan, and she especially adored her grandson. Friends may call from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – FAR HILLS CHAPEL in Dayton, Ohio.
