I am so sorry I could not attend visitation or funeral service. Although I haven't seen her in years I do remember good times in the 4-H club. Always felt welcome there.

My heart was saddened upon reading of Dot Frank's death in the N&O! What memories it brought back, having known the Franks family during days of 4-H and showing dairy cows, then later working with Wake Breeders Coop. What a wonderful family. I also remember Mr. Womble, Dot's father as I recall! To those of you who are family and live on, your roots were planted in the good stuff, that is good for life and everone around! Reminding you warmly how much others care and would like to bring comfort somehow. And hoping you feel that God's presence is with you, supporting and helping you now. I will always cherish the memories Alva and I had with Dorothy and Walter Ray during our many years of cruising. With Deepest Sympathy.

Dorothy was a good friend and neighbor. She always made me feel welcome at her home when I would visit growing up. To Joe, Joan, Shera and all of your family, in the next few days when hurt is hard to bear may love become your shelter and may the beauty of Dorothy's precious memories be your comfort. I'm thinking of you.
