She was my lego building helper. Taught me how to play checkers- beat me every time. We shared many laughs, tears and her awesome sweet tea. I will always love her and continue to be the person she knows I am. I will miss you Mrs. Zona, love always.

Thank you for all the kinds words. Mother loved life, and loved her family and friends. Her committal is scheduled for February 15th at 1:15pm at Ft. Sam Houston Cemetery, Pavillion #5. It brings us great peace to know she is rejoicing with God, and happy to be reunited with Dad.

The world is a much sadder place without Zona. She was very special, and I loved and admired her very much. She could do so many things so well. It was always a joy to visit with her, and I treasured our friendship. She loved her family and delighted in telling about their activities and accomplishments. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God give you strength and comfort.

I will always remember the times that Aunt Zona, my dad, and the other siblings would tell stories of their childhoods when we all were together! Such good, funny stories! We will dearly miss Aunt Zona, she was a super aunt and truly a pleasure to be around. We will always remember her and think of her often.
