Stacy Daniel Carter, 58 of Campbells Creek went home to be with the Lord Monday January 22, 2018 at home.
Stacy was born in Charleston on July 17, 1959 to the late William & Betty Bowyer Carter. He was a Christian; he had previously work at CAMC, Charleston Newspaper and the Marriott.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Stan Carter and Earl Carter.
Stacy leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Melissa Pittman Carter; son, Daniel (Candice) Carter of Clarksburg; daughters, Tasha (Corey) McMillan of Sod and Johnee (Aaron Carter) Carter of Belle; loving mother-in-law who he considered as a Mom, Sharon Pittman of Charleston; brothers, Bill & Doug Carter both of Charleston; grandchildren, Anderson, Hunter, Kennedy, Maci, Mady, Gracyn and Carolina; several nieces and nephews; and he was a father figure to many.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday January 26, 2018 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Fred Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 PM Thursday January 25, 2018 at the Funeral Home.

I am so sad to hear of Stacy's passing. My heartfelt condolences to the Carter family. When Bill and I were going to school Stace & Stan were little guys but tough as nails as I remember. The Carter and Goodwin family's were close friends.
