Margaret Ann (Stewart) Dorner, 72, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with Rev. John Hare officiating. Graveside services will follow at Holliday Cemetery under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the funeral home.
Margaret was born September 1, 1945 in Iowa Park, Texas to Earnest and Ina (Brock) Stewart. She attended Iowa Park schools. Margaret met Edward Dorner while he was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas and they were married on August 31, 1968 in Virginia. She and Ed traveled with their family while in the Air Force and settled in Iowa Park when he retired. Margaret worked for Wal-Mart in Iowa Park as the Fabric Department Manager for several years and sold Avon for 10 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Betty Ina Sue Willis and Mary E. "Tena" Denney.
Surviving relatives include her husband of 49 years, Ed Dorner of Wichita Falls, Texas; son, Edward Robert Dorner, Jr. of Wichita Falls; daughter, Kerri Ina Vajnar and husband, Jason of Plains, Kansas; four grandchildren, Alex Dorner, Iain Dorner, Owen Vajnar, and Lucy Vajnar; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

To Eddie and Family,
Margaret was a beautiful Lady in every way. I liked her the day I met her.
She was always very thoughtful and kind. I will miss talking to her on the phone. I am so sorry that I cannot come to her funeral, but she will always be in my thoughts and prayers. REST IN PEACE, MARGARET.
