Al, you will be dearly missed! I know you are resting now in the hands of God. I told Gabriel you are now an angel and can watch over him everywhere he goes now. So he promised he would always be good from now on! It was heartbreaking to watch Gabriel pray for your full recovery but he understood very well that the Lord takes the good people early so they wouldn't have to suffer. He misses you something terrible and it will be Gabriel to keep all the good memories alive! We all miss you, Al! Genevieve, you had a spectacular soulmate and it may seem like just a short time you've shared in so many beautiful memories (marriage, kids, grandkids, daughters-in-law) just know those memories will go a long way and that is what matters! Praying for Gods strength. Wisdom, Grace, Peace and most importantly HIS Love at this most difficult time. Genevieve lift your head and trust in the Lord He will get you through this difficult time! Love you guys praying for GODS STRENGTH AND WISDOM AT THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME WE CALL LIFE! LOVE YOU AL AND WILL MISS YOU!

My father encouraged me to be the man I am today. His wisdom and guidance throughout my childhood, whether solicited or not, helped to prepare me for the hard things I would face in the real world. He will forever be missed.

Al had a compassionate heart and generous spirit. I can remember vividly after Hurricane Isabel when the tree fell on our house Al was the first one to run up and see if we were okay and climbed up the tree and roof to help saw if off the roof. He was like that, always willing to lend a helping hand. We loved watching him play with his grandchildren in the front yard as we walked past with the dog. Al typically had a sword in his hand, or was wearing that Mohawk helmet with the green spikes as he watched over the children while they skateboarded or was helping them navigate their early bike rides. Al was a good man, hard worker, friendly neighbor and overall nice guy. He will be missed. I'm grateful for God's mercy and grace that he did not suffer long and I know he is smiling down on his family with great pride and love.
