Elizabeth Louise "Picky" McDaniel passed away, January 22, 2018. She was born November 7, 1929 to the late Harry Lee and Ida Mae Craigo.
Elizabeth loved reading, watching WWE wrestling, taking road trips, watching Jerry Springer and Judge Judy, traveling, taking selfies, playing with Snapchat, but more than anything, she loved being surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Ray Sr.; children, Orville Ray Jr., and Brenda Adkins; brother, Arthur Freeman Craigo; sister, Beulah Powell; grandchildren, Rico, Christina and Benny; great-grandchildren, Amanda and Chelsea.
She is survived by her children, Dorothy (Robert) Dillon, Donna (David) Pauley, Suzi McDaniel, Jean White, Terry Harris, Sandi (Cristian) Cedeno, David McDaniel, Karen (Christopher) Sadd and Richard McDaniel; 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Lexi Danaluk for all the care you gave to our mother; Hesham Mohamed, MD, Hatim Al-Jaroushi, MD, Jack DePriest MD, Kevin Namay MD, David Namay MD, Julia DeTemple, MD, Rachel Brill, FNP; Jane Rowsey at Hospice Care; Tara at We Care Medical; Angie at Kindred At Home Health.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Rodney Smith officiating.
A visitation of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
