Thank You Dad for trusting me to take care of you. I did all I could do and the best I could do for you. I believe you were pleased with the service I provided. You thanked me enough.
I'm glad we got the time to spend together doing family gatherings going out to eat, and just doing what we enjoyed doing. I miss you already and its hard, but I'm trusting God to help me to be strong. I'll always cherish the memories the good times and the bad.
You taught us how to tough it out through rough times and how to soften up and go a little easy when we needed to. I get it now. I truly understand. It's hard to say goodbye but I'm letting you go from down here, but I'll always keep you in my heart.
Save us some seats next to you, if you can,and we'll see you on the other side. I don't know when or who is next, but we'll all get there some day. "I love you Dad" Poochie

A Tribute to my husband
Lord I thank you for my gift, a husband, Mark,. Through you Lord he was a provider, leader, and friend. Thank you for the children that you gave us and all the families we shared. Although there were some happy times, some good times, some funny times and some sad times, but God work it out for us together for these past sixty three years.
Mark, I knew you as a strong man, a fighter against the odds and you won. You challenged all your health issues. It was so hard seeing you go through these last few years. You stayed strong, you faught a good fight until the end, holding on to Jesus and never giving up.
I knew the time was coming but I was in denial, the thought of being without you. I tried to keep you here. I did all I could do but God sent his angels for you. I had to step back and let go. I don't know what tomorrow holds for me. I don't know this new journey, but I know that God is going to walk me through it.
I miss you
I'm glad we had time to say our goodbyes for now, but I'll see you again on the other side.
I will always cherish the memories and the Love we shared
Ida

A Tribute from the Children
Dad
We are your children. This is hard for us right now.
We're going to do just what you said to do to take care of Momma.
Momma's is going to be alright because God's got her
What we love most about you.....
You spoke with a stern voice. You were a man of your word, if you said it, you meant it. You took care of your children and didn't walk off and leave momma wondering how she was going to make it.
What we will always remember..
You was a hard worker, a father who told us we have choices, to choose and to make the right decisions. You loved to entertain, playing dominos, and cards. You were very hospitable, friendly, most of all a special and very funny man
What we will miss most about you.....
Your presence, your laughter, your singing, your funny saying, We miss YOU, already
What we learned from you..
It's better to have and don't need than to need and don't have. We learned that you were not perfect but that you did the best you could do, with what you had. We learned to don't wait for handouts, go, work for it. We learned to follow your lead, and to trust God and know he is in control
What we will cherish most is..
Your love and all the of the memories

Uncle Junior had such a contagious laugh. He could make you laugh even when you didn't want too. I can hear him right now. No words anyone can say can reduce the sense of loss we feel right now. For those of us who are Christians, we know where he is now. Yes, we grieve his loss, but we also celebrate his life and our hearts and minds will forever be filled with memories of him.

Our prayers are with you all.
