Harmony-Mr. Everett Greer Marshall, 79, passed away on Monday, January 22, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born on September 11, 1938 in Iredell County the son of the late Ralph Benjamin and the late Mary Early Walker Marshall. He was a lifelong member of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church and was a member of Gideon's International. He worked at Hunt Manufacturing until his retirement as a Supervisor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters Linda Faughnan and Sue Tomlin.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lucille Perkins Marshall. Two sons, Gary Marshall and Billy Marshall both of Harmony. Four daughters, Debra Safley (Greg), Karen Marshall, Sheila Shoemaker (Tim) and Patty Bergandine (Steve) all of Harmony. Brother, R.B. Marshall, Jr. (Cindy) of Harmony. Six sisters, Mary Ann Hedrick of Harmony, Katherine Ward (Pete) of Statesville, Sarah Williams of Harmony Jean Marshall of Harmony, Ruth Jones (David) of Mocksville and Carol Horton of Dallas TX. Eleven grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25 from 1:00 until 2:30pm at Mt. Bethel UMC. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm with Rev Lynn Lepley and Rev. Gary Marshall officiating. Burial will be held in the Marshall Family Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Mt. Bethel UMC 514 Mount Bethel Rd, Harmony, NC 28634 or to Gideon's International 750 Hartness Road Statesville, NC 28677.

My wife an I worked with Everette his hold career at Hunt. He was my Unit manager for the last years that Hunt was in Statesville. He was our best supervisor we had in the tool room. He was a great friend an Brother in christ. We will greatly miss him.
