She had a special love for Tai Chi, in which she was active in volunteering. Mary was detail oriented and assisted with clerical work for the Tai Chi community.
Mary was compassionate and enjoyed hearing about the lives and adventures of her family and friends. She was an outgoing individual who made people laugh with her witty sense of humor. Mary was spiritual, caring and a loyal friend. She was passionate about her turtle named Bonsai, which she had for over 30 years. Mary recently donated her turtle to Burbank Scales N Tails to make sure he had a loving home.
Mary is survived by Lloyd Champagne Sr., of Scottsdale; Charmaine and Paul Berggreen; their two daughters Elise and Nicole Berggreen, of Paradise Valley; Lloyd and Laura Champagne Jr.; their four children Lloyd III, Leighton, Lacey & Liv, of Phoenix. Mary, such a wonderful woman!!! My heart aches at this time for the loss of her. I will write more at another time about this great lady as, at this moment, I am grieving deeply. I just found out, late, last night, of her passing. Much love to you, up in Heaven, Mary!!!
