Eugene Douglas "Cookie" Painter, 75 of Belle passed away on December 2, 2017 at home.
Cookie was born on August 20, 1942 on Campbells Creek to the late U.G. & Elizabeth Dabney Painter. He was a 1960 graduate of DuPont High School; a Computer Analyst and a US Air Force Veteran.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy Nelson Painter.
Cookie is survived by two sons; one brother; several cousins & friends; His companion, Pat Duncan and her family.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday January 29, 2018 at the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
