Joe Hernandez Rodriguez, 79, of San Angelo, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2018. Joe was born to John and Josefina Rodriguez on March 28, 1938, in Austin, Texas. He attended Brown High School, and later married the love of his life, Amelia Garcia Rodriguez, on April 27, 1957. Joe worked for Coca-Cola for a number of years as a supervisor and Area Manager before finally retiring. His hobbies included football, golf, and fishing. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, three sisters, and one daughter, Myra Sue Rodriguez. He is survived by his loving wife, Amelia Rodriguez; son, Michael Joseph Rodriguez, and daughter, Sandra Dianne Velez, as well as his grandchildren. A rosary will be held Monday, January 29, 2018, at 7 PM in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at 10 AM, also in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. I love you grandpa.......... thank you for always giving me the best advise. thank you for all the great times. thank you for always being there for me when I needed you. I still hear your voice guiding me into the right direction. I should've told you I love you more often than I did. i am very lucky that I had you in my life. I'm so sorry for how it all ended, but im glad I was there for you in your final moments. I hope I brought you comfort and happiness in your fragile state. we are taking good care of grandma. she's doing well and talks about you every day.

Grandpa it has been an AWESOME and amazing journey in life being raised by you since i was 14 years old you have taught me very impotant life lessons and accepted me as one of yours and for that you are greatly loved and appreciated you have now passed those same lessons to my children who also adore you !!
