Frances Teri Tornabene, of Raytown, Missouri, aged 95, died peacefully with family by her side, Wednesday, January 24, 2018.
Frances was born February 20, 1922, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Frank and Josephine Teri. She attended Northeast High School, took business and sewing jobs in the Kansas City area, and retired from the Mobile Oil Company in 1984 after 29 years of service.
Frances married Joseph Tornabene May 7, 1944, at Christ Presbyterian Church, where they were active members until joining St. Paul's Church of the Nazarene. Frances and Joseph enjoyed the caring friendships of many members of St. Paul's.
Frances was known for her beautiful creations in sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting, and she blessed many in her life with these gifts. She was also known for her gentle and loving manner, and will be sadly missed by family, friends, and all who crossed her path.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Joseph, her parents, sister, Carmaline Swift, and brother-in-law, Don Swift.
She is survived by sister, Pauline Hart (Bill), brother, Henry Teri (Bev), sister-in-law, RoseMarie Greer (Forrest), brother-in-law, Frank Tornabene, and multitudes of nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews as well.
Services will be held on Sunday, January 28, at 11:00 a.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd. Kansas City, MO 64133.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Paul's Church of the Nazarene.

You and your husband were quietly active in the church. You became our secretary for a while as well. I loved our visits together, and Ruth Hunt and I would sing a couple old Hynms that was fun. Your family will be in our prays.
You will be greatly missed by your St. Paul's family!
