My wife (Micaela and I, Gary) new Buster many, many years through Mended Hearts. They even worked together in Mended Hearts for many years. We had always found Buster to be such a perfect gentleman. He new Micaela had and still has some major health issues but just like Buster he kept on going. Always willing to say hello and great you with a warm and most friendly smile. We the Lovelands are personally sorry we did not attend the fucntions as we just heard of this great sadness today. Ellis family know in your hearts Buster had met many people over the years, countless if I may say so. Prayers and much love is being sent to all of his family and loved ones. Buster my dear buddy you have gone home to a better place and will suffer no more. I wished I was with you as I am battling pancreas cancer but will see you one of these days. Save a place up there for me. With much love, Gary & Micaela Loveland

Buster Ellis was a good and personable man, friendly neighbor, good friend, consultant, political pundit, warm and friendly personality, great Father and Husband, a great salesman, animal lover and a I suspect a pretty damn good umpire. Buster knew what was right, even though he could not tell me where "over yonder" was. And so, for the record, Buster, Lois and family: You are right, again, Mr Ellis, Sir!

So many of my friends have posted on Facebook since the 24th when Dad passed that I wanted to put that link up and thank you all for the overwhelming support. It really kept me going this week as my sister and I pulled together Dad and Lois' affairs while family began to arrive here in Dallas. God bless all of you for your kindness and remembering Buster and Lois in your prayers. https://www.facebook.com/dave.r.ellis
