Christopher Michael Galing, 37, of Papillion, Nebraska passed unexpectedly Friday, January 26. A loving father to his two children – daughter Teagan age 9 and son Nathaniel age 7, Chris was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on November 8, 1980. The son of an Army officer, he attended various schools growing up including St. Columbkille Catholic School from grades 3-8. He was a 1998 graduate of Daniel J. Gross Catholic High School. A graduate of DeVry University, Bellevue University, and a Navy veteran, Chris had an infectious smile, a wry wit, and a big, loving heart. He was a generous and caring soul.
He is survived by his two children (Teagan and Nate), his parents Bernie and Valarie Galing of Papillion, and his sister Samantha Galing of Chicago, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins throughout the country. He is dearly missed by family and his many friends.
Visitation: Friday, February 2, 2018 from 5-7 pm at St Columbkille Catholic Church, 200 E 6th St, in Papillion
Wake: Friday, February 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, in Papillion.
Service: Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at St Columbkille Catholic Church, in Papillion
