Glen Bennett Middlebrook, 81, of Ruther Glen, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps and was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mamie Middlebrook; and brother, Bobby Middlebrook. He is survived by his daughter, Gwendelyn Middlebrook and her husband, Robert Horton; grandson, Dale; brother, Ralph Middlebrook; and sister, Peggy McAfee and her husband, Eddie. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 31, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy, Ashland, VA 23005. A service will be held Thursday, Feb. 1, at 11 a.m. at Carmel Baptist Church, Ruther Glen. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.nelsenashland.com.
