Gale and family, you do not know me but I am saddened to hear of your loss of (Denny) as I knew him. My name is Bob Emhof, I am from Edmeston, NY. Denny and I met as we entered the Army together along with several from our area. We went to basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC but after basic, we were shipped everywhere and even though our home were only about 30 miles apart, I lost track of him. For the last 15 years me and my family have lived in Anderson,SC but I still make yearly trips back to Otsego County. Again, please accept my condolences and may God give you comfort and strength...
