Sarah Mae Tucker, 81 of West Palm Beach passed away on Saturday January 27.
Born January 24, 1937 in Cape Canaveral, FL she was the daughter of the late Holly A. and Beatrice (Mask) Tucker.
She was a lifelong active member of the Palm Springs Baptist Church and volunteered often at the church and at the First Care Women's Center.
Sarah Mae retired from the Textbook Department of the Palm Beach County School Board.
In her past time she enjoyed crocheting, reading, shopping and enjoyed watching football and baseball.
She is survived by her brother in law Dannie V. Blevins of West Palm Beach.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Friday, February 2 from 3:30pm to 5pm at the Palm Springs Baptist Church, 3300 10th Avenue N, Palm Springs. Celebration of Life Services will begin at 5pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, Florida Chapter, 3799 North Andrews Avenue, Oakland Park, FL 33309 www.pvaflorida.org

I had the privilege of working with Sarah at the school district's Library Media Services. She was a lovely and loyal member of the team who brought laughter and joy to each day she worked. We missed her when she retired. My heartfelt sympathy to her friends and family who grieve her loss.
