I found a dear friend in Betty when I moved to Lillington in the little brick house after the death of my husband. The beauty of her garden would lift my spirits every day.Her smile and concern for me was as sweet as her garden. When I had to move away it broke my heart but Betty always called to check on me and share the neighborhood news. Oh how I wanted to return for more visits but my health made that impossible. Betty was a true friend that will be missed and I know how much she means to you John. I loved her dearly.
