George was a very modest man and an extremely talented broadcaster. He will always have a special place in my heart.
I worked for him for many years at KFPW and honestly don't think I would have gotten where I did professionally or personally without him.
God bless George's family.

Sara,
Many years ago I met your Dad through the wacky world of the advertising business. He had a quiet sense of humor. My thoughts are with you during this sad time.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. For some inexplicable reason George has been on my mind for the past week. I haven't seen him in over 10 years. We were partners (along with Bill Gravley, Bill Brown, and Gordon Brown) as owners of KFPW/KBBQ Radio many years ago. George was a delight to be around. He had such a quiet, easy-going demeanor and could always make me laugh. I admired his broadcasting expertise. He will be missed by many.
I hope you find comfort in knowing George is in Good Hands now.
